About this item
At $29.99, this open-box Royal Kludge RK61 Plus creamy mechanical keyboard is an inexpensive way into hot-swappable switches and RGB lighting. It's worth a look for students, first-time builders and anyone who wants to experiment with switches without spending much.
What does hot swappable mean on the RK61 Plus?
You can pull out and replace the switches without soldering, so you can try a different feel later. Check the listing for the switch type it ships with.
- Sound: the 'creamy' label points to a softer, more muted typing sound.
- Open box: ask whether all keycaps and switches are present and working.
- Lighting: confirm that the RGB has been tested.
