What does DIY Edition mean on the Framework Desktop?
DIY editions generally expect some assembly or setup by the owner. Read the description to see exactly which parts are installed and what, if anything, you still need to add.
- At $4,149.99 for an open-box unit, ask why it was returned and request photos of all components.
- Confirm the 128GB DDR5 and 4TB SSD are present and match the title.
- Check that the power cable and any included accessories are complete.
- Budget for an OS license if you need Windows.
