About this item
Under $230, the open-box ASUS VivoBook 14 X1404V is a basic, no-frills laptop: a Core i3-1315U, 8GB of DDR4 memory, a 128GB SSD and Windows 11 Home on a 14-inch screen. It works as a first laptop, a homework machine or a spare for browsing and email.
Is 128GB enough on an ASUS VivoBook 14 laptop?
It's tight. Windows updates take a share of it, so plan on cloud storage or a USB drive for photos and media.
- Keep apps light; 8GB of RAM handles browsing, documents and streaming well.
- Check the open-box notes for screen or keyboard wear.
- Make sure the charger is included.
- Ask whether Windows 11 Home is activated and set up fresh.
