About this item
Writers, coders and anyone who carries a keyboard between home and office will see the appeal of the Nuphy Air75 V3 wireless mechanical keyboard. This open-box unit has 84 keys in a compact layout with hot-swappable switches, and it's listed at $109.99.
Is the Nuphy Air75 V3 worth buying open box?
Open box can save money, but with keyboards it pays to confirm nothing small has gone missing. Because the switches are hot-swappable, you can change them later without soldering, which lowers the risk if you don't like the ones fitted.
- Switch type: check which switches are fitted, since feel and sound vary.
- Accessories: confirm the cable, any wireless receiver and any keycap or switch puller are included.
- Battery: ask how well it holds a charge if it has been used.
- Keycaps: look for shine or missing caps in the photos.
