Is an open-box ASUS ROG Strix G16 worth it?
Open box often means the unit was opened or returned, so the savings can be real. Read the seller's notes carefully and compare the price against new pricing.
- Accessories: confirm the charger and power brick are included, since gaming laptops draw a lot of power.
- Condition: look at photos of the screen, keyboard and lid for marks.
- Memory: 16GB DDR5 handles most games. Ask whether the RAM is upgradeable if you plan heavy editing.
- Display: the panel resolution and refresh rate aren't in the title, so check the description.
