About this item
A new-in-box Optiquest Q71 CRT monitor is the kind of piece retro computing fans hunt for. This 17-inch color display carries the ViewSonic model number VCDTS21467-3 and is listed at $220.99. It suits vintage PC builds, classic games that look best on a tube, or a collector who wants an unused example for display.
Does a vintage 17-inch CRT monitor work with a modern PC?
Usually not directly. CRTs from this era generally take an analog signal, so confirm the connector in the photos and plan for an adapter if your graphics card lacks analog output.
- Box status: check whether it's still sealed or has been opened and inspected.
- Testing: ask if the seller has powered it on.
- Packing: CRTs are heavy and fragile, so ask how it will be protected in transit.
- Photos: request pictures of the box on all sides.
