About this item
If your work lives in a browser, the ASUS Chromebox 3 mini desktop keeps things simple. This new unit runs Chrome OS on an Intel Core i7, lists 8GB alongside a 32GB SSD (confirm the 8GB is RAM) and connects to a screen over HDMI. Schools, front desks, digital signage and anyone who mainly needs web, email and streaming are natural fits.
Is 32GB of storage enough on a Chromebox?
For cloud apps and online file storage, it usually is, since Chrome OS is built around the web. If you keep lots of downloads offline, plan on a USB drive.
- Update support: check the device's Chrome OS auto-update expiration date before buying.
- Peripherals: confirm whether a keyboard and mouse are included.
- Power adapter: make sure it's in the box.
