What do tri-mode and hot swap mean on the Aula F99 wireless mechanical keyboard?
Tri-mode usually means you can connect three ways: by cable, with a 2.4GHz receiver or over Bluetooth. Confirm the exact modes in the listing. Hot swap means you can pull out and replace switches without soldering.
- Receiver: check that the wireless receiver is included.
- Switches: hot-swap boards are easy to take apart, so make sure no switches are missing.
- Battery: ask the seller how well it holds a charge.
- Extras: look for a cable and switch puller in the photos.
