About this item
The ASUS Vivobook X1404 14" laptop is a simple, affordable option, listed new at $359.99 with an Intel Core 5 120U, 8GB RAM, a 256GB SSD and Windows 11. It suits high schoolers, college freshmen and anyone replacing an aging home computer.
Can the ASUS Vivobook X1404 handle school and home office work?
Yes for essays, browsing, video lessons and spreadsheets. 8GB RAM runs a moderate number of apps at once, but power users who juggle many programs may want more.
- Storage: the 256GB SSD is fast but small, so use cloud storage for large libraries.
- Windows edition: confirm Home or Pro in the item specifics.
- Screen resolution: the title doesn't list it, so check before you buy.
- Charger: make sure it's included in the box.
For basic schoolwork and home tasks, it covers what most buyers need.
