About this item
Empty expansion slots on a rack server can let dust in and disrupt airflow. This lot of low profile PCI rear slot cover plates for Dell R740 servers is also listed for the R740XD, R640, R540 and R840. It's marked new at $398.00.
How many PCI slot covers are in this Dell server bracket lot?
The title says "lot" but doesn't give a count. Check the description or ask the seller, then work out the cost per bracket to judge whether $398.00 is good value.
- Bracket height: these are low profile. Full-height slots need different plates.
- Riser match: confirm which risers or slots in your chassis use them.
- Photos: look for photos of the actual plates, not just stock images.
- Cover: eligible purchases are covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
Useful for IT teams and homelab owners tidying up several servers at once.
