About this item
This lot of scrap RAM for gold recovery weighs 20 lbs and mixes PC2 and PC3 memory modules with no heat spreaders. Unshielded sticks leave the edge contacts exposed and ready to process. That is why e-waste recyclers and precious metal hobbyists buy bulk computer memory scrap by weight.
Is a 20 lb scrap memory lot worth $1,199.99?
That depends on recovery yield and current metal prices, and the title can't tell you either. Work out your own price per pound and compare it with other bulk RAM scrap lots.
- Check the photos for loose parts, broken boards or non-RAM items mixed in.
- Confirm how the seller weighed the lot and whether packaging counts toward the 20 lbs.
- Treat this as recovery scrap, not as working memory for a PC upgrade.
- Your purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
For a refiner, consistent mixed lots make planning easier. Do the math before you bid.
