About this item
Fans of the TrackPoint pointing stick will recognize the Lenovo ThinkPad KT-1255 TrackPoint keyboard. It is a black Bluetooth model with an English layout. An independent eBay seller lists this open-box unit at $150.00. It suits office users, programmers and anyone who likes to move the cursor without leaving the home row.
Is an open-box ThinkPad TrackPoint keyboard worth it?
It can be, as long as the listing shows everything you need. Open box usually means the packaging has been opened, so the details matter more than they would with a sealed item.
- Accessories: confirm which cables or extras the seller includes.
- Wear: check photos of the TrackPoint cap and keycaps for shine or marks.
- Layout: the title says English. Check whether it is US or another English variant.
- Pairing: make sure your laptop, tablet or desktop supports Bluetooth.
