Enthusiasts moving to a compact ergonomic layout often look at the Boardsource Lulu 58 key split keyboard. This open-box listing, titled XYZ Lulu, features a red orange case and is described as an assembly, priced at $149.99.
What does a split keyboard assembly include?
That varies by seller. An assembly may mean a fully built board or a case and PCB set without switches or keycaps, so read the description and photos carefully to see what you'll receive.
- Confirm whether switches, keycaps and the cable linking both halves are included.
- Ask which firmware it runs and whether it's been tested.
- Expect a learning curve, since 58 keys usually means using layers for numbers and symbols.
- Check photos of both halves for case scratches.
Great for programmers and writers who want shoulder-width typing and a custom build. Covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
