About this item
CAD, engineering software and GPU-assisted rendering are what a Dell Precision 5760 17-inch workstation is built around. This one lists an Intel Core i7-11850H, Nvidia A2000 graphics, 16GB of RAM, a 256GB drive and Windows 11. It is offered at $489.99 in open-box condition.
Is 256GB enough on a Precision workstation?
For large CAD assemblies or video projects, it probably is not enough on its own. Budget for an external drive, or ask the seller whether the internal storage can be upgraded.
- The title says Excellent, but check the photos for screen marks, keyboard shine and case wear.
- Ask about battery health, since an 11th-gen Intel model may have seen earlier use.
- Confirm the charger is included and has the correct wattage.
- Check that Windows 11 is activated.
It gives engineering students and freelance designers a workstation-class GPU at an open-box price.
