About this item
Tinkerers who like to tweak their setup will appreciate the Epomaker Galaxy100 mechanical keyboard, listed new in gray at $79.99. It has 100 keys, a rotary knob, hot-swap switch sockets and VIA support for remapping, which makes it a flexible pick for office work, gaming and first-time custom keyboard projects.
What can you do with the Galaxy100's hot swap and VIA?
Hot swap lets you change switches without soldering, and VIA lets you remap keys through software. Both are handy if you plan to experiment.
- Switches: check which switches come installed, if any.
- Connection: the title doesn't say wired or wireless, so confirm it.
- Desk space: 100 keys means a fuller layout, so measure your space.
- Extras: look for a switch puller or keycap puller in the photos.
A strong starting point for customizing, covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
