About this item
For $150, this Dell OptiPlex 3070 Micro offers an Intel i5-9500T at 2.2GHz, 16GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD and Wi-Fi in a tiny business form factor. It's listed open box with no operating system, which makes it appealing to tinkerers building a home server, Linux box, media player or office kiosk.
What does no OS mean for this OptiPlex 3070 Micro?
You'll need to install an operating system yourself, whether that's Windows with your own license or a free Linux distribution.
- Check whether a power adapter comes with it, since micro PCs use an external brick.
- Ask if a mounting bracket or stand is included.
- Confirm the SSD has been wiped and is ready for a fresh install.
- Review the photos to see which ports are on the case.
