About this item
Building your own small desktop can start with an ASRock DeskMini X300W barebone mini PC, and this open-box kit lists 2.5G LAN plus support for AMD Ryzen 5000 G-Series processors. Barebone kits appeal to DIY buyers who want to pick their own parts for a quiet office box, a media center or a home lab node.
What do I need to finish an ASRock DeskMini X300W build?
A barebone usually lacks the processor, memory and storage, so budget for those on top of the $299 price.
- CPU included? The title names Ryzen 5000 G-Series support. Check whether a chip is actually installed.
- RAM and SSD: confirm the memory type and drive slots the listing describes.
- Power adapter: make sure it's in the box, since open-box kits sometimes ship without one.
- Operating system: plan to install your own.
