About this item
Adding a second processor to an HP workstation means you'll also need the right cooler. This HP Z8 G4 workstation 2nd CPU heatsink is listed new for $59, with part numbers 907572-001 and 907572-002 in the title.
Is this the correct heatsink for a second CPU in an HP Z8 G4?
Compare the part numbers with HP's documentation for your machine. The title says it's for the 2nd CPU position, so make sure that's the slot you're filling.
- Seller wording: the title calls it genuine. Check the photos and description for labels that back that up.
- Thermal compound: find out if any is pre-applied or if you'll need your own.
- Planning: a dual-CPU upgrade may need other parts too, such as matching memory.
- Coverage: your purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
Useful for creators and engineers getting more out of their Z8.
