About this item
For a high-core-count build, the Intel Core i7-14700KF gaming desktop processor packs 20 cores, split as 8 P-cores plus 12 more, and it's listed new for $262.99 by an independent eBay seller. That core count suits gamers who also stream, edit video or compile code on the same machine.
What else do I need with an Intel Core i7-14700KF?
A CPU on its own won't boot a PC, so plan the platform around it before you check out.
- Motherboard: confirm socket and chipset support with your board maker, as a BIOS update may be needed.
- Graphics: check the listing or Intel's spec page on whether this KF chip needs a separate graphics card.
- Cooling: see if a cooler is included, and budget for a capable one if not.
- Packaging: ask whether it's a boxed retail unit or a tray chip.
