Are lubed and filmed silent linear switches worth paying extra for?
If you don't want to open, lube and film more than a hundred switches yourself, paying for the labor done can make sense.
- Count your board's keys to make sure 110 switches cover your layout.
- Check the listing for pin type and compare it with your PCB or plate.
- Ask which lubricant and film were used.
- Request close-up photos to judge how evenly the lube was applied.
