About this item
Core count is the headline on this dual Xeon 2696 v4 workstation. Two Intel Xeon 2696 v4 processors give 44 cores and 88 threads, backed by 256GB of RAM, with HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. Note that no SSD is included.
Who needs a 44-core Xeon workstation server with 256GB RAM?
It suits home-lab users running many virtual machines and people rendering 3D scenes on the CPU. It also fits anyone crunching large datasets. It is overkill for office tasks and not designed as a gaming PC.
