About this item
The ASUS ExpertCenter PN54BB5000ETLA barebone mini PC is for buyers who'd rather pick their own parts. This open-box listing includes the R5 340 platform but no RAM, no storage and no operating system. Budget for all three on top of the $600 price.
What do I need to finish an ASUS ExpertCenter barebone kit?
Plan on memory, an SSD and a Windows or Linux install before it will boot into a usable system.
- Check ASUS's spec sheet for the supported memory type and maximum capacity.
- Confirm the SSD form factor and how many slots it has.
- Since it's open box, verify the power adapter and mounting hardware are included.
- Add up the total cost and compare it with complete mini PCs.
It suits IT pros, tinkerers and home lab builders. Purchases are covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
