About this item
For $55, this open-box Razer BlackWidow Chroma mechanical RGB keyboard gives budget gamers a programmable, backlit keyboard with a USB connection and an English QWERTY layout. For students and first-time PC builders, it's a real step up from a basic membrane keyboard.
What should you check on an open-box BlackWidow Chroma?
The listing doesn't name the switch type or say whether it's full size, so you'll have to rely on the photos and description.
- Zoom in on the keycaps for shine, cracks or missing caps.
- Look for a photo of the keyboard lit up, so you can see the RGB backlight working.
- If the USB cable is pictured, check it for kinks or damage.
- Ask the seller about the switch type if the feel matters to you.
