About this item
The Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 5000 is a wireless keyboard and mouse set, listed new in box (NIB) at $67.50. It is handy if you want to match or replace an existing office setup. It suits office workers, home users and anyone who would rather use a separate keyboard and mouse than type on a laptop.
Is an older wireless keyboard and mouse set still a good buy?
For everyday typing and browsing, it often is. Just make sure it works with your current computer and comes with everything it needs.
- Receiver: confirm the wireless receiver is in the box, since the set needs it to connect.
- Batteries: check whether any are included.
- Packaging: 'NIB' suggests the box is unopened, so look for photos of a sealed box.
- Compatibility: check the box or listing for supported operating systems.
