About this item
Couch gaming without a console: the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally is a 7-inch handheld gaming PC with a 120Hz touchscreen, an AMD Ryzen Z2 A chip, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. This open-box listing sits in the laptop category, but it's a portable machine for playing your PC game library on the go.
Is an open-box ROG Xbox Ally handheld a safe buy?
It can be, if you check it carefully. Handhelds get handled a lot, so look closely at photos of the sticks, buttons and screen, and ask the seller how much it was used.
- 512GB fills quickly with modern games, so check the listing for storage expansion options.
- Confirm the charger is included.
- Ask about battery health or charge cycles.
- Note the Ryzen Z2 A processor when comparing it with other Ally models.
