About this item
At $1,700, this custom gaming PC desktop computer build sits in a higher bracket. Buyers here usually expect smooth play at high settings, with room for streaming or content creation on the side. The seller asks shoppers to read the full description, and that is good advice: the title lists no components at all.
Is a $1,700 custom gaming desktop worth it?
It can be, if the parts list justifies the price. Compare the cost of the main components against buying them separately.
- GPU and CPU: these two parts drive most of the cost. Confirm the exact model names.
- Power supply and cooling: look for the PSU wattage and the type of CPU cooler used.
- Memory and storage: check the RAM amount and the SSD capacity, especially if you keep a large game library.
- Extras: see whether Windows, Wi-Fi, peripherals or a monitor are included or sold separately.
