About this item
Competitive players chasing smooth motion should look at this Alienware 27-inch QHD 280Hz gaming monitor, an open-box IPS panel running 2560x1440 with a 1ms response time and Adaptive-Sync. It's listed at $459.99.
Do I need a powerful GPU for a 280Hz 1440p gaming monitor?
Yes, if you want close to 280 frames per second at 1440p, especially in demanding games. Esports titles are easier to run at high frame rates, and Adaptive-Sync helps smooth out gameplay when frame rates drop.
- Check which ports are listed and confirm your graphics card can output 280Hz at 1440p.
- Read the open-box notes and check the photos for panel scratches.
- Make sure the stand and cables are included.
- Ask whether the seller tested it powered on.
If it arrives not as described, the eBay Money Back Guarantee applies.
