About this item
The HyperX Alloy Origins 65 mechanical gaming keyboard has a trimmed-down 65 layout that frees up mouse room on crowded desks. This one is new and listed at $44.78, and the title mentions USB-C, illumination and PBT keycaps.
Is the HyperX Alloy Origins 65 good for small desks?
Yes. A 65 percent-style board drops the number pad and function row, so players who use low mouse sensitivity get more room to swipe. Students and travelers often like the smaller footprint too.
- Switch type: it isn't in the title, so check the listing for which switches are installed.
- PBT keycaps: PBT usually resists shine better than ABS over time.
- USB-C: confirm that a cable is included.
- Missing keys: be ready to use function layers for F-keys.
