About this item
If you want a budget office desktop with plenty of memory, this HP EliteDesk 800 G3 tower lists an Intel i7-7700, 32GB RAM and two 512GB SSDs, about 1TB of solid-state storage in total. It comes with Windows 10 Pro. At $300 it suits home offices, small businesses and anyone who keeps lots of browser tabs open.
Is an HP EliteDesk 800 G3 with i7-7700 still good for office work?
For documents, email, spreadsheets and video calls, yes. It isn't built for modern gaming, since the title doesn't list a graphics card.
- Condition: it's listed as new, but this is an older business model, so read the description for its actual history.
- Windows: Windows 10 no longer gets free mainstream security updates, so look into your upgrade options.
- Extras: check whether a keyboard, mouse and power cable are included.
- Ports: make sure the display outputs match your monitor.
