Will the HP 17-BY 17-CA palmrest L22750-001 fit my laptop?
Match the part number on your current palmrest, not just the model series. The keyboard layout, color and backlighting all need to match as well.
- Backlighting: this keyboard is non-backlit, so it will not add a lit keyboard.
- Color: it is gray, so check that it matches your bottom case.
- Included parts: confirm whether ribbon cables and the power button come attached.
- Installation: expect a full teardown, which makes it best for DIY repairers and repair shops.
The title says it is made for HP models, so ask whether it is an original or a replacement part.
