About this item
A cracked or worn deck on an ASUS TUF Gaming A16 palmrest keyboard cover can make a good gaming laptop look tired. This new replacement part is listed for the FA617, FA617NS, FA617XS and FX617, priced at $394.99 in Components.
Is this ASUS TUF A16 palmrest right for my FA617 or FX617?
It might be, but model suffixes matter. Find the full model code on the sticker under your laptop and compare it with the seller's list.
- Check the photos to see whether the keyboard comes attached or you get only the top cover.
- Look in the description for keyboard layout and backlight details, since the title doesn't give them.
- Make sure the color and finish match your chassis.
- Swapping a palmrest usually means opening the whole laptop, so set aside tools and time.
