About this item
This Raspberry Pi 5 metal case with active cooling and M.2 NVMe support turns a bare board into a tidier mini computer. It's new and listed at $87.99. The metal shell protects the Pi, the active cooling helps with heat, and the M.2 slot lets you add NVMe storage instead of relying only on a microSD card.
Is an M.2 NVMe case worth it for a Raspberry Pi 5?
It can be if you run a home server, media box, retro gaming setup or a small desktop and want faster storage than microSD.
- SSD not mentioned: the title says nothing about a drive, so you'll likely need your own M.2 NVMe SSD. Confirm this in the listing.
- Board not included: it's a case, so check that a Raspberry Pi 5 isn't part of the sale.
- Drive size: look for which M.2 lengths the case accepts.
- Cooling: check the photos to see how the fan connects.
