About this item
OLED contrast and a deep 800R curve come together in this LG 34 inch UltraGear OLED curved gaming monitor, which offers 1440p resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. It's listed open box at $596 and aimed at immersive racing, RPGs and fast shooters.
What should you check on an open box UltraGear OLED monitor?
With OLED, how the panel was used matters. Ask the seller how long it was used and look for any signs of image retention before you buy.
- Panel health: ask for photos showing solid-color screens to spot burn-in or uneven areas.
- Resolution: the title says 1440p, so confirm the exact resolution and aspect ratio in the listing.
- In the box: check that the stand, power supply and display cables are included.
- Desk space: a 34 inch curved screen takes up a lot of room, so measure your desk first.
