The title says it includes the palmrest, keyboard and touchpad and fits HP 17-BY and 17-CA laptops. The listing references part numbers L22749-001 and L92780-001, and the price is $363.49.
How do I know this HP 17-CA palmrest fits my laptop?
The model series alone isn't always enough, because layouts and colors can vary within a range. Check the part number on your current palmrest or in HP's parts documentation.
- Part number: match L22749-001 or L92780-001 to your machine.
- Color and layout: compare the photos with your laptop, including keyboard language and backlighting.
- What's attached: confirm whether the keyboard and touchpad come already installed.
- Installation: a palmrest swap usually means taking the whole laptop apart, so set aside time or budget for a repair shop.
