About this item
A custom Wooting build is about as personal as a keyboard gets. At $1,000, this open-box listing is aimed at serious enthusiasts and competitive gamers rather than casual shoppers. The title is short, so almost everything you need to know is in the seller's description and photos.
How do I judge a custom Wooting keyboard build before buying?
Treat it like any one-of-a-kind item. Its value depends entirely on the parts used, so get the details from the seller in writing.
- Base model: ask which Wooting board the build started from and what size it is.
- Parts list: request details on the switches, keycaps, case, plate and any mods.
- Condition: it's listed open box, so check close-up photos of the keys and case.
- Value: add up what the parts would cost and compare that to $1,000 so you know what you're paying for the build itself.
Do your homework first. The purchase itself is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
