About this item
Looking for a 4-bay NAS with an Intel N150 on a small budget? The G9 is an open-box Twin Lake N150 system with 12GB of DDR5 memory, 64GB of eMMC and four storage bays for $165. It suits home-lab users building a media server, a photo backup box or a shared file drive for the family.
What do you need to add to the G9 4-bay storage unit?
The title doesn't mention drives, so budget for your own disks. The 64GB eMMC is small and best suited to the operating system.
- Check which drive sizes and types the bays accept (2.5-inch, 3.5-inch or M.2).
- Confirm what operating system, if any, is installed.
- Look for the network port speeds in the listing.
- Make sure the power adapter is in the open box.
