About this item
The Dell OptiPlex 3000 Thin Client (model D15U) is a small, low-cost desktop for virtual desktops, remote sessions and kiosks. This open-box unit is listed at $99.99.
What is a Dell OptiPlex 3000 thin client used for?
Thin clients connect to servers or cloud desktops that do the heavy lifting, which makes them a good fit for call centers, front desks, point-of-sale stations and IT labs. They aren't meant to replace a full desktop for demanding local software.
- Thin clients come with different operating system images, so check which one is installed.
- Confirm the RAM and storage in the listing.
- Make sure the power adapter is included.
- Ask if any BIOS or management passwords have been cleared.
For IT teams testing a VDI rollout, one inexpensive unit is an easy way to check compatibility. You're covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
