About this item
A bag of Cherry MX Silent Red switches is an easy way to turn down the noise on a hot-swap keyboard. This lot includes 75 switches plus 2 HyperX keycaps and is listed open box for $18. That's enough to fill many compact layouts, but count your board's keys to be sure.
Will Cherry MX Silent Red switches fit my keyboard?
They fit MX-compatible hot-swap sockets, or boards you're willing to solder. Optical and low-profile keyboards won't take them, so check your board's specs first.
- Used or unused: open box can mean the switches were pulled from a board, so ask whether they were installed before.
- Pins: look closely at the photos for bent legs.
- Count: confirm that all 75 are included.
- Keycaps: the 2 HyperX caps are a bonus. Check which keys they are.
