About this item
The ASUS ROG Swift 27-inch 4K 240Hz QD-OLED gaming monitor (PG27UCDM) pairs a 4K panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and a listed 0.03ms response time. That mix is aimed at players who don't want to choose between sharpness and speed. An independent eBay seller lists this open-box unit at $800.
Is an open-box 4K 240Hz QD-OLED monitor worth it?
It can be, as long as the panel checks out. Open box usually means the packaging has been opened, so the listing photos and description matter more than usual.
- Panel condition: look for notes on dead pixels, scratches or burn-in. Ask the seller if the listing doesn't mention them.
- What's in the box: confirm the stand, power supply and cables are included.
- Your GPU: 4K at 240Hz is demanding, so check that your graphics card and ports can drive it.
- Use case: it suits competitive and AAA gaming, as well as creators who want a sharp 27-inch OLED display.
