About this item
A Ryzen 5 9600X gaming PC with an RTX 4060 8GB is a sensible first desktop for 1080p players. This open-box build at $1,250.00 adds 16GB of DDR5 and a 512GB NVMe SSD. It is a good fit for popular shooters, MOBAs and indie games, and it can handle schoolwork or streaming too.
Should I upgrade storage on this RTX 4060 gaming PC?
Probably. A 512GB drive holds Windows and a handful of large games, so many buyers add a second SSD later. DDR5 also gives you a modern upgrade path for memory.
- Components: ask for details on the motherboard, power supply and case.
- Open-box history: ask how long it was used and why it was returned.
- Cooling: confirm which CPU cooler is installed.
- Wi-Fi: the title doesn't mention it, so check whether wireless is built in.
