About this item
For many shooters and esports titles, fast frame rates matter more than pixel count, and that's where the Acer Nitro 27 IPS gaming monitor aims. It pairs a 200Hz refresh rate and 0.5ms response time with FreeSync at Full HD. This open box unit (UMHV0AA01) is $168.81.
Is a 27-inch Full HD gaming monitor sharp enough?
At 27 inches, 1080p looks softer than it does on a smaller screen, especially for text and spreadsheets. For gaming, it's easier on mid-range graphics cards that can't hold high frame rates at 1440p.
- FreeSync: works best with a compatible graphics card, so check your GPU.
- Ports: confirm in the listing which inputs support 200Hz.
- Open box: ask about dead pixels and included cables.
- Stand: check the adjustment options in the photos.
