About this item
Linear switches, sturdy caps and no number pad: the Ducky One 2 Horizon TKL is an 87-key mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Red switches and PBT keycaps. It is listed open box at $76.99. The tenkeyless size frees up desk space for wide mouse movements in shooters.
Are Cherry MX Red switches good for gaming?
Reds are linear and light, so many gamers like them for fast, repeated presses. Typists who prefer a bump on each press may want tactile switches instead.
- Open-box condition: check the photos for shiny keys, missing caps or other wear.
- Cable and accessories: confirm the USB cable and any keycap puller are included.
- All keys working: ask whether every switch was tested.
- Layout: 87 keys means no numpad, so anyone doing heavy data entry may want a full-size board.
