About this item
Gamers who want fast, smooth keystrokes often start with a wired mechanical keyboard with red switches. The Wormier K87-RD fits that brief at $49.99 open box. Red switches are linear, with no tactile bump, which many players like for rapid inputs.
Is an 87-key keyboard good for gaming and work?
An 87-key board drops the number pad, which gives your mouse more room and keeps the function row. The title says it works with Windows and Mac.
- Cable: it is wired, so confirm the cable is in the box.
- Key condition: open box can mean light use, so check the photos for shiny keys.
- Mac keys: look for notes on how modifier keys map on macOS.
- Lighting: the title doesn't mention backlighting, so check the listing.
