About this item
This new Dell Precision 7920 Tower comes with dual Xeon Bronze 3204 processors at 1.90GHz and 64GB of RAM, but no VGA and no SSD. It's a starting point for builders, IT pros and home lab tinkerers who want to choose their own graphics card and drives.
What do you need to add to a Dell Precision 7920 with no SSD?
At minimum, you need a boot drive and a way to display video. The title doesn't mention an operating system, so plan for that too.
- Storage: budget for an SSD and check the listing for drive bays or slots.
- Graphics: confirm which cards and power connectors the system supports.
- Memory config: ask how the 64GB is split across modules.
- Power cord: check that one is included.
At $999.00, add your upgrade costs before comparing it to other workstations. Your purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
