About this item
Engineers and CAD students on a budget often look for a refurbished Dell Precision 5540. This certified refurbished listing has a 15.6-inch FHD screen, a Core i7-9850H, 32GB RAM, a 512GB SSD, T1000 graphics and Windows 10 Pro for $599.99.
Is a Dell Precision 5540 still good for CAD and creative work?
With 32GB RAM and a dedicated T1000 graphics card, it handles 2D CAD, photo editing and multitasking well. Very large 3D projects may need a stronger graphics card.
- Windows 10 Pro: check whether you can, or want to, move this laptop to Windows 11.
- Battery: ask about battery health, which matters on any refurbished laptop.
- Charger: make sure it's included.
- Protection: covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
A lot of memory and graphics for the price if you're a student, freelancer or drafter.
