About this item
Photographers, video editors and designers who need extreme detail will recognize the Dell UP3218K, a 32-inch 8K IPS monitor. This black unit is listed open box, which can trim the cost of a premium display. Even so, it calls for a careful look before you buy.
What do I need to run an 8K monitor like the UP3218K?
Driving 8K takes a capable graphics card with the right outputs, plus suitable cables. Check your GPU's specs and the listing's included accessories before ordering.
- Cables: confirm which video cables come in the box, since open-box items are sometimes missing extras.
- Screen condition: look for photos of the panel powered on, and ask about dead pixels or scratches.
- Stand: check that the stand and its hardware are included.
- Fit for your work: 8K suits detailed creative work. For gaming or office use, it's more than most people need.
