About this item
If you're building a home lab or need a budget machine for engineering coursework, a certified refurbished Dell Precision T5810 with the Xeon E5-1650 v3 is worth a look. This configuration has 32GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD.
Xeon E5-1650 v3 vs v4: which Precision T5810 should you pick?
The v3 is the earlier generation of the same Xeon line, so a v4 build is one step newer. For virtualization, file serving, coding and 2D CAD, the v3 with 32GB is a sensible way to save money.
- GPU: the title doesn't name a graphics card, so check before planning 3D work.
- Windows license: confirm whether an OS is installed.
- Expansion: look for notes on spare PCIe slots and drive bays.
- Condition: read the refurbisher's cosmetic notes and test details.
Like other eligible eBay purchases, it's covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
