About this item
If you want the Dell Precision T3610 Xeon E5-1650 v2 platform for less, this Certified - Refurbished unit at $279.99 keeps the 32GB of RAM but uses a 500GB HDD instead of solid-state storage. That trade makes sense for buyers who care most about price or plan to add their own SSD later.
Should you buy a T3610 workstation with a hard drive instead of an SSD?
A spinning hard drive boots and opens apps more slowly. Once programs are loaded, the 32GB of memory still handles multitasking well.
- Upgrade path: ask whether there's space and a spare connection for an extra SSD.
- Software: the title doesn't name an operating system, so confirm it in the listing.
- Video output: no graphics card appears in the title, so check which display ports are available.
- Condition photos: look for dents or missing panels.
