About this item
Need a plain, dependable office desktop? This refurbished Dell OptiPlex 7020 tower comes with an Intel Core i5-4570, 8GB of RAM, a 1TB hard drive and Windows 10 Pro, and the title says a power cord is included. It's listed at $283.99.
Is a Dell OptiPlex 7020 tower still worth buying?
It can handle email, documents, bookkeeping and browsing. Keep in mind that Microsoft ended mainstream Windows 10 support in October 2025, so think about how you'll keep the system secure. A 1TB hard drive gives you plenty of space but loads more slowly than an SSD.
- Speed upgrade: adding an SSD later can make the system feel much quicker.
- Peripherals: check if a keyboard, mouse or monitor is included. The title only mentions the power cord.
- Ports: confirm the video outputs match your monitor.
- Refurb notes: read the seller's description of the work done.
