About this item
Hobbyists on a budget should look at the YUNZII B75 Pro mechanical keyboard. The listing mentions a gasket design, tri-mode wireless and hot-swap support for $50.00, new. That makes it a good starter keyboard for anyone curious about custom keyboards.
What does hot-swap mean on a gasket mechanical keyboard?
Hot-swap means you can pull out and replace switches without soldering. A gasket design is meant to soften how typing feels. Together they make it easy to experiment with different switches and sounds.
- Tri-mode: check the description for the three connection modes it supports.
- Switches: find out which switches come installed and whether 3-pin or 5-pin switches fit.
- Battery: capacity isn't in the title, so look for it in the listing.
- Layout: check the photos for arrow keys and a function row.
